The only solution I've been able to come up with is to build a midi multiplexer that would have 4 inputs and 4 outputs where each output gets all of the merged input signals except the corresponding input signal.so output 1 would get the merged inputs 2, 3, and 4, output 2 would get merged inputs 1, 3, 4, etc etc. Very few of these have midi thru and even if they did, from what I understand, if you actually created a loop with the signal you'd get signal feedback. I am trying to connect my devices so any device can send or receive signal from any other device (assuming it is transmitting/listening on the appropriate channel). Specifically this is a modular synth/traditional synth setup. These are devices that can produce midi but can also record midi or manipulate midi before it gets passed on to the output or just play back. I have a number of midi sources that are also midi destinations. I have a problem that I am wondering if there are known solutions to that I am not aware of.
